Orchard Flower Farm studio is an art gallery in itself. Original prints by artists who once worked in the studio include Sir Terry Frost, Patrick Heron, Sandra Blow and Grayson Perry. Stunning works of art for the uninitiated - heaven for enthusiasts. Formally the studio for master printer Hugh Stoneman, you would only expect the spaced to be bathed in natural light. The open plan conversion ensures uninterrupted views of the valley. A clever use of space makes for separate dining and living areas. Lovingly kitted out with large leather sofas, oversized armchairs, books, board games, binoculars and blankets - it's a world away from a city life.
EatingThe kitchen has been equipped with a Boutique Retreat blueprint; from coffee machines to lobster crackers. All the usual mod cons you would expect, including a washing machine, electric oven with separate hob. Orchard Flower Farm has its own spring water (still not sparkling ) water Bollinger for drinking & bathing in . Eco glitz!
BathingA separate bathroom, bath and shower dark grey slates, whitewashed walls and chrome taps would you expect anything else?
SleepingTo make the very most of the light and views from the bedroom, the mezzanine has full sized ceiling height, proper stairs and a king sized bed. Should the weather be a bit mizzly outside there are curtains which can be pulled around the area to shut out any wild Cornish storm, or simply to snuggle up together.
GardenThe studio has a wooden deck area, perfect for al fresco eating or even a gas BBQ on site. The outside space is as magic as the inside, guests at Orchard Flower Farm have free-range within the 6 acres of the gardens and valley wilds. The rush of the flowing streams and the sounds of bird song are a far cry from the roar of the M25.
ParkingYes, ample, right outside.
