The Mill House
At a Glance
A very large sitting room bathed in natural light boasting a large log burning stove, large comfy sofas and plenty of space for a fireside supper or a family board game! Please note that the 'kitchen' - a brand new super-sized kitchen-living-area is a brand new converted barn which forms part of the Mill House. This offers a tremendous and super-stylish additional living as well. There is plenty of room for a large family group to enjoy the house without ever feeling on top of each other.
The most tremendous 'kitchen for living in' at The Mill HouseA picture paints a thousand words, but until our photographer has gotten a chance to shoot the fabulous barn extension to The Mill I'll do my best. An enormous space, open to the huge oak A-frame and flooded with natural light (largely care of the folding glass doors wall-to-wall). A handmade oak kitchen with everything Nigella could ever dream of (and a separate utility room - I have owned flats in London that are smaller..). If you have ever eaten at Sophie's on the Kings Road you will know how amazing the 'dangling bare light bulb' look is. Bang on trend and a super slick combination of postindustrial meets Cornish farmhouse. If you've never seen a 'fold down' log burning stove, you are about to ! boys toys with aplomb. Anyway, that's very nearly a thousand words... wait for the photos, it won't be long.
SleepingFour bedrooms with the master bedroom boasting a king-sized sleigh bed and en suite bathroom. The three further bedrooms are set up as twins but may be arranged as doubles by arrangement. One twin bedded room has additional truckle beds for smaller children. Again, just let us know in advance how you would like the bedrooms to be configured.
BathingFour bedrooms and four bathrooms. Surely that is the crucial message for any family sharing a house! One bathroom is en suite but each bathroom is clearly designated to a particular bedroom. Whether you prefer a quick shower or a long soak, there is a bathroom to suit. Also, for this year, a brand new wet room area adjacent to the new kitchen conversion is the perfect pit stop for sandy feet straight of the beach. Try to keep the sand outside please…
GardenLarge private south facing garden with a barbecue and garden furniture and an outdoor shower for you and your sandy kit when you come off the beach.
ParkingPlenty of allocated parking space for up to four cars.
